Music
As with sports, music is universal and timeless, with the capacity to arouse in us a vast array of emotions, thought, and at times, action. Like much that endures across time and distance, music may indeed have fundamental survival value for humans and sentient beings. For me, music is one of those rare and remarkable phenomena that transcends the finite and provides a conduit to a broader universe. And, esoterica aside, its just plain fun.
