People
There is nothing quite so human as people: We are indeed unique creatures on our planet. Yet for all our differences across all other life forms, we are more fundamentally alike than we are different. This is certainly true within our amazingly diverse species; there is far more that unites us than divides us. Our capacities are vast and the human potential seemingly boundless, though we are relative newcomers to life on Earth, and still in our infancy.
